Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) defines the boundaries for using Sloxly developer APIs, OAuth integration, and Captcha services. Compliance with this policy is mandatory for all registered developers.
2. Acceptable Uses
- Building applications that enhance user experience with Sloxly account integration.
- Implementing secure authentication via OAuth 2.0 flows.
- Protecting your forms and endpoints with the Sloxly Captcha service.
- Accessing analytics and project management via the developer dashboard.
3. Prohibited Uses
- Abuse & Spam: Using APIs to send unsolicited emails, messages, or notifications to users.
- Data Harvesting: Systematically collecting user data beyond what is authorized by the user's consent.
- Security Violations: Attempting to exploit, probe, or test vulnerabilities in our API endpoints.
- Impersonation: Creating applications that impersonate Sloxly or mislead users about data handling.
- Credential Sharing: Sharing API keys or OAuth credentials between unrelated applications.
- Captcha Bypass: Building tools to circumvent or automate solving of captcha challenges.
- Illegal Activities: Using APIs in connection with any activity that violates applicable laws.
4. Content Standards
Applications integrating with Sloxly must not contain or promote:
- Malware, phishing, or deceptive software
- Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Gambling or age-restricted content without proper safeguards
5. Monitoring & Enforcement
We monitor API usage patterns to detect violations. Enforcement actions include:
- Warning notification via email
- Temporary rate limit reduction
- API access suspension (7–30 days)
- Permanent account termination for severe violations
